This project critiques the dangerous ideology of longtermism, driving the worldview of many powerful figures and regularly neglects the needs of people living today. I broke down this complex topic into a succinct, playful comic book.  The comic tells the short story of a longtermist billionaire whose grand visions for the distant future lead to unexpected consequences and ultimately, deep regret. Through humor, and fun illustrations, the work exposes the lack of morality within longtermist thinking while inviting readers to reflect on questions of responsibility, selflessness, and the value of the present.
